The cave room was unforgettable! Enjoyed lovely breakfasts on the terrace with the stunning view of the city. The staff was super helpful. Only downside was no laundry service. 😅

The grotto room was beautifully atmospheric, with a romantic ambiance. Breakfast on the sun terrace was a real treat, complemented by the stunning views. Staff were welcoming and provided excellent service (especially with local tips! ).

what a fantastic find! the hotel's terrace has an amazing view of the sassi. It's a short stroll to attractions like the stunning Chiesa del Purgatorio and the beautiful Palazzo del Sedile, making every moment in matera a memorable experience.

The cave room we stayed in was warm and comfy, adding to the unique charm of our experience. Breakfast was fantastic, especially when enjoyed on the terrace with breathtaking views of the Sassi, which was a true highlight of our stay.

Unfortunately, the parking situation made our arrival quite stressful as it was inconvenient and somewhat confusing to navigate. Additionally, the hotel's location was tricky to find, which added extra time to our journey. We also faced steep stairs leading to the breakfast area, which were exhausting after a long day of exploring.

rooms are so small you can barely turn around, and the so-called 'cave smell' is just charming, right? to top it off, no laundry services at all. as if my stay wasn't inconvenient enough, a welcome gift should've been a given! just couldn’t bring myself to give this place more than a mediocre rating.

Had a gorgeous view from the patio—talk about Instagram material! The cave room was spacious and dry, a rare find for a cave hotel. Plus, we loved the short tunnel entrance that made us feel like explorers!

But oh dear, those stairs! I felt like I was training for the Olympics just trying to get to breakfast—definitely not for the faint of heart!

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in the cave theme, making it a unique experience. Loved having a mini-bar with affordable drinks! The bathroom was great too, with a sizable shower. One downside was the bed. it squeaked a lot, which made it hard for us to sleep soundly. Otherwise, it was a cozy stay!
